My best friend is Xiao Yi. She has short hair. She has two big eyes and a small mouth. She is tall and thin. She lives on the tenth floor of a tall building. There are five people in her family.
Xiao Yi likes to do sports. She likes to play badminton and volley ball. Her favourite color is pink. Her favorite food is fish and vegetables, because they are healthy. Her hobby is reading books and riding a bike. She often plays the computer or goes shopping on the weekend. Sometimes we go to KFC together. We go there by car.
I like my best friend—XiaoYi. We are good friends

Yesterday was my birthday and I received a lot of presents.
These presents were packed in coloured paper and two of them were funny and interesting, which impressed me.
My sister sent a bag of present to me. The bag was big and round. I though it was a football. But when I opened it, I saw a clock. The other one was given by my brother. He left me a message, which said my present is lying in your bedroom. When I got to my bedroom, I found a laptop. Oh!Great! I jumped with joy. I know, they Want me to study hard and not to waste time.
I would never forget this birthday.

How to learn English
We know it is difficult to learn English. My English is very good. I learn English like this.
I Listen to the teacher carefully and write the important points down on my notebooks. After class I revise the lessons. Before class I prepare new lessons to find out the questions. Then I will listen carefully in class.
I also listen to the tape, and speak English with my classmates in the classroom and on the playground. It’s to improve my listening and speaking.
I keep a diary every day to practise my written English.
Besides this, I often read English newspapers and magazines to enrich my knowlege on English culture.
We will learn English well so long as we learn it hard.

我們的英語(yǔ)老師她姓高，雖然才剛剛升入五年級(jí)，但我覺(jué)得高老師已經(jīng)對(duì)我們產(chǎn)生了親切感，而我對(duì)高老師也產(chǎn)生了一種好感。她對(duì)我們關(guān)心、負(fù)責(zé)而又嚴(yán)格，上課津津有味，所以我們都挺喜歡上她的課的。

我們的寒假放假時(shí)間是從一月十六號(hào)截至到二月七日。我想每個(gè)人在這期間，都會(huì)去做很多的事。但是我沒(méi)有這樣。下面就讓我來(lái)給大家講講我的寒假發(fā)生的.事吧。
我花了很長(zhǎng)的時(shí)間來(lái)做作業(yè)…，在寒假這段時(shí)間里，我每天起的都很晚。然后呢，我聽(tīng)錄音機(jī)(tape),轉(zhuǎn)眼到九點(diǎn)了。之后，我吃完早飯?jiān)倩ㄒ徽斓臅r(shí)間去做作業(yè)！其實(shí)我做的并不慢，只是家庭作業(yè)布置的太多了！
我在玩耍方面也顯得十分倒霉。在我玩爆竹的時(shí)候，傷著了我的手指。我手拿著放爆竹的時(shí)候，太不小心了，所以顯得很是倒霉。
在我與朋友聚餐時(shí)也相當(dāng)?shù)姑埂Ｔ缟�，我是想著早點(diǎn)起，可是等我睡醒時(shí)已經(jīng)是10：50.十分鐘后，聚會(huì)就要開(kāi)始！于是我只吃了塊面包就徑直向朋友家跑去！在朋友家呆了很長(zhǎng)的時(shí)間后，我回到家，我爸爸媽媽很生氣并且還大罵我一頓。
我很擔(dān)心我的體重，上學(xué)期，我體重是48KG，但是現(xiàn)在我已經(jīng)漲到51KG了！我必須減肥了！
但是更為重要的是，我已經(jīng)去過(guò)了上海海洋水族館，我非常期待去那，因?yàn)樵谀俏铱梢钥吹今R、猴子……還有大�！，F(xiàn)在我實(shí)現(xiàn)這個(gè)愿望了。這也是我這個(gè)寒假唯一的一個(gè)亮點(diǎn)。
