一、教學(xué)背景分析
(一)教學(xué)內(nèi)容分析
本單元的中心話(huà)題是pen pals。主要語(yǔ)言功能項(xiàng)目是talk about countries, cities and languages。語(yǔ)法結(jié)構(gòu)為 Where…from; Where…live and what language…speak。先以Activity1復(fù)習(xí)語(yǔ)言與國(guó)家的配對(duì)練習(xí)入手,
Activity2a, 2b一個(gè)綜合的聽(tīng)力訓(xùn)練來(lái)展示學(xué)生的聽(tīng)力能力,并以聽(tīng)力內(nèi)容為基礎(chǔ),通過(guò)Activity2c中假設(shè)的兩人對(duì)話(huà)操練來(lái)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的交流能力,同時(shí)也引導(dǎo)學(xué)生多溝通與多交流。Activity3a是一篇email形式的閱讀文章,并有相關(guān)問(wèn)題由學(xué)生在閱讀后進(jìn)行回答Activity3b 是根據(jù)提供的信息進(jìn)行填空的寫(xiě)作練習(xí),Activity3c是一篇模仿寫(xiě)作,讓學(xué)生給自己的筆友寫(xiě)一封關(guān)于本人信息的email。圍繞這些內(nèi)容本單元設(shè)計(jì)了這樣三大任務(wù)

并在各課時(shí)教學(xué)中設(shè)計(jì)各種各樣的小活動(dòng)。通過(guò)Discussion,Classifying,Guessing等不同方式讓學(xué)生掌握本單元的知識(shí)點(diǎn),用學(xué)會(huì)的知識(shí)與外國(guó)的筆友自如的交談是學(xué)習(xí)本單元的目的。

三、課時(shí)結(jié)構(gòu)
為了能較好地實(shí)現(xiàn)既定的教學(xué)目標(biāo),結(jié)合本單元教學(xué)內(nèi)容和學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)規(guī)律,將本單元授課時(shí)定為四課時(shí)。

(第一課時(shí))

1.學(xué)會(huì)世界上主要國(guó)家和城市的表達(dá)方式。
2.了解世界上主要國(guó)家一些情況,如國(guó)旗,地圖形狀及地理位置。
3.學(xué)會(huì)使用where 句型。

Step 1.Lead-in (1a&2a)
First greet the students. Then teacher begins the topic with the Spring Festival. Do you have a nice Spring Festival? Do you go to many places? I do. Then use the fresh pictures through computer to teach the students names of countries, cities. Divide the students into groups, then show the flags and pictures, let them guess the names of countries and cites. At last finish 2a on page2. 通過(guò)這個(gè)環(huán)節(jié),教師完成本單元的新單詞的導(dǎo)入,通過(guò)提供給學(xué)生每個(gè)國(guó)家的地圖,讓學(xué)生猜出國(guó)家名稱(chēng)及相應(yīng)的城市,學(xué)生能有意識(shí)的記憶國(guó)家及城市的名稱(chēng),并為整節(jié)課任務(wù)的完成奠定最基本的詞匯基礎(chǔ)。在看圖片時(shí)學(xué)生能夠做到精神集中,并能激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。
Step2.Practice(1c&2d)
①Teacher says: I goes to many places during the Spring Festival, so I have many pen pals from different countries. One of my pen pals is Sandy. She is from the UK. She lives in London. Ask the students: Do you have a pen pal? Some say yes, some say no. Then go on with “Where is she/he from?” and “Where does she/he live? Ask some students to stand up and practice with teacher.
②With these sentence structures, ask students to practice them in pairs.
③Make a Survey to understand your classmates better.

上面這些句型的操練都是為了最后一個(gè)任務(wù)作鋪墊。操練的過(guò)程中可以及時(shí)糾正學(xué)生的錯(cuò)誤。然后讓學(xué)生填寫(xiě)調(diào)查表,了解全班同學(xué)的筆友分別來(lái)自哪個(gè)國(guó)家以及居住在哪個(gè)城市,同時(shí)讓學(xué)生認(rèn)識(shí)和了解一些國(guó)家和城市相關(guān)地理文化知識(shí),拓展學(xué)生的視野, 激發(fā)他們的興趣。在完成任務(wù)的過(guò)程中運(yùn)用where…from和where…live引導(dǎo)的特殊疑問(wèn)句, 綜合運(yùn)用目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言, 詢(xún)問(wèn)并回答人們的國(guó)籍和住處。

After practice, do a lot of listening exercises. Finish 1b on page 1 and 2b & 2c on page 2.在口頭練習(xí)的基礎(chǔ)上,在他們熟練掌握本課時(shí)句型以后再做這些聽(tīng)力應(yīng)該是不難了,這樣可以增加他們學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的信心。并且這些聽(tīng)力材料的設(shè)計(jì)也是層層遞進(jìn),由易到難,充分考慮到了學(xué)生的層次,起到了很好的鞏固作用。

Step1.Revision (Brain Storm)
Use fresh maps of some countries, let the students say the names of these countries as quickly as possible.用這樣一個(gè)小小的游戲,既復(fù)習(xí)了上一課時(shí)的單詞又活躍了課堂的氣氛,也為這一節(jié)課新知識(shí)的教授作好了銜接。使新課的導(dǎo)入自然又輕松。

The teacher says we have known the names of these countries, but do you know what languages do people speak in these countries? Let’s look at the map and guess. Then do a matching exercise to consolidate the knowledge. At last do 3a and sectionA1.通過(guò)一系列的活動(dòng),讓學(xué)生知道那個(gè)國(guó)家講什么語(yǔ)言,學(xué)會(huì)說(shuō)這些語(yǔ)言的單詞,為下面的任務(wù)作準(zhǔn)備。

2.教師用電腦將不同國(guó)家的筆友的資料展示給每一個(gè)學(xué)生,讓同學(xué)們選自己最喜歡的笑友并簡(jiǎn)單的介紹自己筆友的情況,所應(yīng)用句型:My pen pal's name is... He/she is from.... He/She lives in... He/She speaks…. He/She likes….
3.用自己選出的筆友跟你的同桌談?wù)摗?/p>
4.調(diào)查小組內(nèi)其他同學(xué)筆友的情況,包括姓名,年齡,國(guó)籍,所住城市,所說(shuō)語(yǔ)言,喜好及其他一些情況。充分應(yīng)用所學(xué)語(yǔ)言不局限于本單元句型,并向全班作匯報(bào)。至此學(xué)生完成本課時(shí)所有任務(wù)的設(shè)計(jì)。

Step1.Revision
Revise the names of the countries, cities and languages by fill in a form.通過(guò)這個(gè)復(fù)習(xí)目的在于讓學(xué)生牢牢掌握,因?yàn)檫@些詞匯很難,要不停反復(fù)地記。
Step2. Reading(3a)
1.The students open the books, turn to Page 5 and read the first letter. After that, the students answer six simple questions.
2.The students read after the tape and go on asking and answering some more questions in pairs. 通過(guò)這一步的練習(xí),作好熱身運(yùn)動(dòng),為下面更多內(nèi)容的閱讀作好準(zhǔn)備。
Step3. Pairwork( 3b)
1.The students read the letters that the teacher gives them and then choose one pen pal they like.
2.The partner asks the student some questions about the pen pal’s letter and then help the partner to fill in “ID card of my partner’s pen pal.”

這一步是全單元的重心所在,全面所有的工作都是為了現(xiàn)在所作的努力,學(xué)生掌握的如何也可以從這里看出,所以我們可以給于學(xué)生充足的時(shí)間,讓他們?cè)谡n堂上慢慢寫(xiě),這樣如果在寫(xiě)作過(guò)程中出現(xiàn)錯(cuò)誤,我們也可以及時(shí)給于他們糾正。
