I lived in what you call “Ancient Greece” and I used to write about the Olympic Games a long time ago.

分析:(1)what you call“Ancient Greece”是由 what引導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從句,做介詞 in的賓語(yǔ),同時(shí) what在賓語(yǔ)從句中做 call的間接賓語(yǔ)。

(2)句型 used to 表示“過去常常做某事(暗含現(xiàn)在不做了或不是了之意)”,后接動(dòng)詞原形,既可表過去的動(dòng)作,亦可表過去的狀態(tài)。

知識(shí)拓展:1、 be used to do sth.意為“被用于做某事”,其中不定式表示目的。

注意:在此句型結(jié)構(gòu)中,若主句事態(tài)為一般現(xiàn)在時(shí),則that引導(dǎo)的定語(yǔ)從句要用現(xiàn)在完成時(shí),若主句為過去事態(tài),則that引導(dǎo)的定語(yǔ)從句要用過去完成時(shí)。
